Strategic Planning
Executive Summary
Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center
Website and Digital Marketing Technology Plan
This project required me to analyze the technology needs of an organization and develop a Strategic Technology Plan based on the data collected. The completed plan consists of data gathering techniques, financing spreadsheet, and an Action Plan including timelines and persons responsible for each action. Included in this artifact is the Final Technology Plan, the recorded presentation, and matrices used for data gathering and analysis.

The Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center is a relatively new non-profit organization that rehabilitates mammals that have been orphaned. After looking at the website, I realized it needed an upgrade and incorporated digital marketing platform.
I collaborated with the director of center, Jeanne Paddison, her volunteers, and a web developer to develop this plan. Many times I had to provide short trainings on technologies and digital media to assist in the stakeholders understanding of the transition.
In the development of this project I was able to demonstrate using data collection and analysis to formulate an organized strategic plan. The center will be able to refer to the plan and evaluate the developments in their website and digital marketing outcomes for the following 3 years.
Project Reflection
I have coordinated instruction and developed marketing plans in the past. The process of developing this Technology Plan expanded on my current skills as a coordinator. I learned data gathering techniques as well as implementing the instruments to gather this data. I've worked on teams throughout my professional career and there are always difficulties when organizing people as well as information. Working with a non-profit organization was a new type of commitment for me. Volunteers work exceptionally hard at the wildlife center and it was difficult to expect extra time for interviews and surveys. My past experience in mediation and real estate helped me manage this project from the volunteers perspective. I had to be extremely flexible with my scheduling and phone conversations. Overall, the experience expanding my understanding of analysis and collaboration techniques. I gained new skills in research and data analysis techniques.

Technology Plan Presentation
This artifact is a 12 min presentation providing information about the center and the process in creating the Technology Plan. I've used PowerPoint to provide the visual information and Kaltura CaptureSpace to record the presentation. It demonstrates my ability to organize information and present it clearly and professionally.
Evaluation
Below is the Evaluation Matrix used as organizational tool to begin analysis of the center.
